At Akhand Jyoti, nearly two decades of work have made one truth clear. Blindness can be prevented and reversed when care reaches people on time. With over one million surgeries completed and millions screened across rural Bihar, progress is visible. Yet the demand for care continues to outpace existing capacity.
Vision 2030 is our response. Driven by women trained through the ‘Football to Eyeball’ Girls’ Empowerment programme, it focuses on expanding surgical services, strengthening rural access, and building a skilled workforce to meet Bihar’s growing eye care needs.
