Our Story
At Akhand Jyoti, we believe that RESTORING SIGHT and EMPOWERING GIRLS are two sides of the same mission: to lift underserved regions out of poverty.
In one of India's poorest states, blindness and gender inequality reinforce each other, limiting learning, productivity, and opportunity, especially for women. By training young women from low-income households to deliver world-class eye care, we are breaking this cycle. Each restored vision and empowered girl revives dignity and hope - proving that when sight and opportunity return, entire communities rise.
